Rib Rub

This recipe doesn’t contain any sugar. To limit your sodium, eliminate the salt.

Rib Rub

This recipe makes enough for about 12 lbs of ribs
Servings 0

Equipment

  • Something to grind spices (I use a coffee grinder dedicated to spices)

Ingredients

  • 8 tablespoons paprika
  • 4 tablespoons mild chili powder
  • 3 tablespoons ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons ground cumin
  • 1 tablespoon sea salt coarse
  • 1 tablespoon dried crushed oregano
  • 1 tablespoon dried crushed thyme
  • 1 tablespoon whole allspice seeds
  • 1 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1 tablespoon whole coriander seeds
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 4 teaspoons whole yellow mustard seeds
  • 1 teaspoon powdered garlic not garlic salt

Instructions

  • Grind coriander seeds, allspice seeds and mustard seeds. (I use a coffee grinder that is only used for spices).
  • Mix all ingredients in bowl.
  • Save in a glass jar (or plastic bag, if that's what you have).
