Technology – For it or against it?

I didn’t think I would get caught up in emerging technology at this point in my life, but here I am. I’ve learned a few new things in the last couple of months, although I’m not always sure I can duplicate my successes or avoid my mistakes. I’m using Instagram for myself, and I hope to find ways to use it in conjunction with this website. Probably to announce a new recipe with a picture or something. I have a personal Twitter account and one for the Curiousenior, but I’m not sure… It does appear that age doesn’t define that app (doesn’t Queen Elizabeth have a Twitter account??), but maybe I don’t have anything Tweetable to say at the moment. Never mind. I’ll get there.

And what the heck does a hashtag do, anyway?? (Update: it appears that a person like myself can put a hashtag # in front of some words jammed together and any posts in Twitter or Instagram will be put in the “same place” so you can see multiple postings about the same topics. My first go at this was regarding the tulip festival in Ottawa. So, kind of interesting…)
