Deborah J. Ferris, The CuriouSenior, was born on the cusp of the Baby Boomer generation, June 1945. She has a BA in Sociology from KU and a Juris Doctorate from UMKC. She specialized in financial and corporate law and mutual fund compliance before retiring in 2011. Her new passion is exploring the possibilities in life as she ages. She is inspired by her two adult daughters. (I’m in the middle, Michele is on the left and Rachel is on the right.)
Her daughter Rachel has B.A. in Early Childhood Development, is certified to teach in California, and has an MA in Special Education. Rachel is especially passionate about teaching children to read. She is a teacher-activist who teaches young children and works for the rights of educators.
Her daughter Michele has an MBA, a Masters Certificate in Gerontology and is a Certified Dementia Practitioner. Her business is working with caregivers, especially those caring for seniors. Michele is available as a life coach and a public speaker. For more information, check out her web page: https://michelemagner.com/
